About Colby:

Colby has been working in real estate since 1999. He holds a bachelors in business and a law degree from Bentley University in Boston. Colby's tenure started at a prominent real estate brokerage and law firm in Boston for 6 years as a licensed agent, development officer and senior legal advisor. He moved to San Diego in 2005 with his wife who is now a world-renowned licensed clinical psychologist and researcher. Colby also has worked as a wealth manger and licensed investment advisor with several state and national accreditations, once managing a portfolio of nearly $1B in assets.


Colby has been with Premier Realty for 15 years now and brings a very strong business, finance and law background as well as over 26 years experience as a licensed realtor to our team. He specializes in private and off-market transactions, linking up his vast network of buyers and sellers. Over the last three years he has averaged roughly $30 million in annual transactions. In 2023, Colby broke the record for price per square foot of commercial land per square foot in downtown La Jolla where he represented three groups of buyers assembling six lots and successfully negotiated with corporate attorneys for the lease-buyout of a very profitable 25-year corporate lease, thus allowing the improbable sale to occur.


His focus and passion is luxury, coastal properties. He also works extensively in commercial development, multi-unit investment properties, rental management and leasing. He works both as a buyer's and seller's agent. Colby is known to be an around-the-clock agent, working as hard as anyone for his clients. He is as knowledgeable and as capable an agent as you will find here in San Diego!
